Heirloom Vegetable Seeds and Where to Find Them!

I just had a random thought that one of the biggest hurdles to planting an heirloom garden is really not just planting and tending it, but finding the quality seed to plant it in the first place. I thought about this a bit and decided to make this handy list of heirloom vegetables with links to buy the seed at numerous seed companies. This is the first list and will focus primarily on the varieties listed in Taylor’s Guide to Heirloom Vegetables by Benjamin Watson's. I plan to make another list with links to varieties in William Woys Weaver's two books, Heirloom Vegetable Gardening: A Master's Guide to Planting, Seed Saving, and Cultural History and 100 Vegetables and Where They Came From. It will take me a while to get all of the links added to the varieties, so be patient. The companies are not listed in any particular and with no special recommendations. I'm sure that there are also more suppliers out there somewhere. One place to check if no company is listed is Seed Savers Exchange Yearbook, which requires a membership to get access to their full catalog.
